Norine Iola Miller's Obituary
Norine I. Miller, a 72 year resident of San Bernardino, passed away on July 1, 2012 at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino.
She was on the San Bernardino City Council for 13 years representing the 7th Ward. She was instrumental in the creation of the San Bernardino Soccer Complex and was also involved in the San Bernardino Symphony and the remodeling of the California Theatre. Most recently, she served as a member of the San Bernardino City Water Board.
Norine was preceded in death by her husband Olen Gene Miller.
She is survived by her four children; Norine (John) Madden, Carolyn (John) Schutz, David (Janet) Miller and Mark Miller. Also surviving her are her seven grandchildren Nick, Norine Anne, Mary Elizabeth, Jon, Julia, Meghan and Ishbel; and three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary, 265 W. 25th Street, San Bernardino, CA at 11 a.m. on Thursday July 5th 2012. Inurnment will be private.
