Dear Margaret and family,
We send our love and condolences, on reading that Nick has passed away. We enjoyed
seeing you several times at Scottish Rite, and when you met with a group at the Country
Club in recent years. We appreciated Nick's cheerful personality and yours! You are
both much loved in this community.

We valued the times past when we could visit Soffa Hardware, and find things we needed and receive help in finding things. The world has
changed! Where are those good old days?

Your son was a friend of our son, Brooks, at Arrowview Junior High. He encouraged Brooks to join Demolay. Brooks didn't follow this idea, but it was wonderful
to have that encouragement! Brooks is an attorney, and has four children, ages
7 through 16! He lives in Alta Loma.

Nick will certainly be missed so much, and my heart and prayers reach out to Margaret. When I served as the Director of Athletics at CSUSB, Nick and Margaret were avid fans and even better friends! They were truly members of the Coyote family. We will all miss NIck much and wish comfort and love to Margaret.

So sorry to read in The Sun that Mr. Soffa has passed away. He and his wife Margaret have been staunch supporters of Cal State San Bernardino and its athletic program for many years. They attended volleyball and basketball games on a regular basis and were generous with their time and their resources in support of Coyote Athletics as members of the Coyote Athletic Association. When I was in athletics I could always walk out of my office and find them sitting on a couch near the lobby of Coussoulis Arena waiting for the doors to open so they could watch warmups before the games started. God bless Margaret and her family at this time. Nick will be watching Coyote games from a higher place. Praise God for a life well lived.
