Nelson F. Spinner's Obituary
Nelson Spinner passed on 12 April, 2016, at his home in San Bernardino,Ca. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Abigail, his eldest son, Erik of Long Beach, CA., middle son Richard, and youngest son David, both of San Bernardino. Nelson is also survived by his sister, Peggy Plummer of Glendora,Ca. He left many nieces and nephews and a large extended family behind. Nelson was born in Colton, CA., in the winter of 1937. He later graduated from Colton High School. He then entered the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1961. Upon leaving the Corps,He met and married Abigail Garcia. He worked as a carpet installer for Fair Price Carpets in Highgrove,Ca. He was attending fellowship at Calvary Chapel San Bernardino, also known as the "Red Barn". His interests and hobbies included working on old cars, NASCAR, and making sure that the stray cats he found were fed on time. The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his honor to his wife Abigail.
