Naotala Tuitau's Obituary
Naotala Tuitau, 76,
went home to heaven on July 3, 2010. Born in Fagatogo, Am. Samoa on Christmas Eve, Naotala grew up with 11 siblings. He served as a criminal investigator in Samoa and as a police officer in Hawaii. He later attended Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena while pioneering the Samoan Congregational Church in Long Beach. He was a pastor for 27 years before retiring from the ministry.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ailini; eight children: Larry (Merita), Leilani Nellie, Vaisuatoto, Aveta Marquez, Asoiva, Leilani Ann Bautista (John), Jerry (Kathy), and Mark; 46 grandchildren and 18 great grand-children. He is preceded in glory by his son, Duncan.
