Lin Somsak
We were blessed to know Nan as a friend in the Classic Thunderbird Club International. We especially enjoyed the time we spent together with Nan and Tom on tours at our 2011 convention in Omaha, Nebraska. She was such fun to be with, always had a smile and a fascinating story to tell, but never complained about herself. She and I shared stories about both being cancer survivors and she encouraged and inspired me. In 2010, I had asked her to write some of her amazing story for our EarlyBird magazine about travelling around the world with her 1957 Ford Thunderbird as an Air Force nurse.
