Mr Monty "Ron" Teague's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Monty (Ron) Teague of Highland, CA. Born August 11, 1950 in Hugo, Ok. At age 64, he went to be with the Lord June 5, 2015. Reunited in Heaven with parents Bill and Velma Teague and many beloved family members. Survived by Judy, his loving wife of 39 years, daughters Jennifer Merry and Shauna Powers (Anthony), grandchildren Scott Washington, Jonathan and Lauren Powers, sisters Rhonda Teague Flanary and Patti Testerman. Ron was a long time resident of San Bernardino County. He moved to CA in 1973, upon honorable discharge of his enlistment in the U.S Army at age 18, where he completed a tour in Germany and volunteered for Vietnam. Ron had a passion for cars and could tell the make and model by the taillights alone by the age of three. His love of cars led to a successful career as an Automobile Damage Estimator with State Farm. In his retirement, he dabbled in classic cars, owning two muscle cars. He enjoyed cruising in Route 66, and going to car shows. Ron had humor like no one else with phrases that would bring a smile to anyone's face. He was a kind, giving, loving and passionate person. Ron was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, he loved God, his Country and his family... Welcome Home
A visitation will be held on Monday June 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a chapel service at Bobbitt Memorial. A graveside service will immediately follow at Riverside National Cemetery Staging area 1.
