Mrs Minnie Lou "Skip" Bernard's Obituary
Minnie Lou “Skip” Bernard, was born September 21, 1922, in Hoxie, AR, to Leslie and Susan Randolph. She walked through Heaven’s gate Monday morning, April 13, 2015. Skip moved to San Bernardino with her mother and brother in 1940 and graduated from San Bernardino Valley College and Skadron College. She worked most of her life in business, beginning in banking and spending the majority of her career as an office manager.
Skip married her husband, Frank, on December 5, 1952, and they were married for 44 years before his passing. Skip is survived by her sons, Randy and Eddie Peterson, her brother, Duane, of Plano, TX, and grandchildren Brandon and Rebekah. Skip was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland, CA.
Services will be at Bobbitt’s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at 10:00 am, with internment at Montecito Memorial Park immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to American Companion & Caregivers, 4740 Green River Rd., Suite 212, Corona, CA 92880.
