Mildred Margaret Hershey's Obituary
Mildred was born June 11, 1936, in Baltimore Maryland and gained her beautiful wings July 28, 2023, where she resided in San Bernardino California. She is survived by two brothers, Walter Merson (Carol Jane), Henry Merson, and one sister Georgeanne Mowery. Four loving daughters Dorothy Hollinger (Bill), Joanne Quiel (Gary), Crystal Gertner (Gordon), Kimberly Roberts (Rick). Her seven grandchildren who she loved and adored Debbie, Melissa (Jeff), Lisa, Christopher (Hashanah), Kristina (Michael), Joseph (Brittany)and Kimmie, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Mildred will always be missed and in our hearts forever. She was a loving wife, a fabulous mother and a great homemaker. She always took care of her husband Joseph Hershey Sr. and her four loving daughters. Our dad was in the USAF and after 20 years he retired from Norton air force base in San Bernardino. Mom and dad decided to call San Bernardino home where she provided day and night care for her seven grandchildren. She volunteered for 12 years at Del Rosa Elementary school PTA where several of her grandchildren attended. To know my mom was to love her as she loved everyone. She is preceded in death by her husband TSGT Joseph R. Hershey Sr and her infant son Joseph Jr. Her final resting place will be with her husband and son at Baltimore National Cemetery. Memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM Friday Sept. 15th, 2023, at Bobbit Memorial Chapel located at 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino Ca.
