I always enjoyed just hanging out w/dad. He loved the outdoor & the animals. When I think back to my childhood memories, it was about gardening (he sure could catch a gopher, wished I'd paid more attention here. I sure could use that knowledge now); ducks, so many they were coming out of "the woodwork". He used to shephard them around, when there where no houses back where we lived, to eat the grasshoppers; geese, one time I took one of the babies in to heal it because it got between the big geese in a fight & then it did not want to stay w/the other geese, it wanted to follow me around. Chickens & rabbits. I enjoyed helping take care of the rabbits. The rabbits were the most fun & enjoyable out of all the small animals we had. Oh yeh, the baby goats, that I believe grandpa gave us. What a adventure to watch all this unfold! Watching seeds turn into plants, then into food; watching eggs turn into baby animals, baby rabbits turn into bunnies, & even my pony having a baby colt. All the kittens & even a dog, I would bring home w/some story of how I found it & you would let me keep it. My dad really lived!!!
Mom & dad you both made it all possible. Being a parent, I know how much power parents have in what a child can have or do. Thank you both for giving it your all & showing me what good parenting is all about! I will give it my all & con't w/your legacy! Thanks for all the wonderful memories!
Dad, I will miss you. Even when you were unable to speak, you were still teaching me. They were the most important lessons I needed to learn. Now, you can really live! Enjoy paradise as our Lord & Savior told us about. I know you can't come to me, but I can come to you. I am right behind you daddy! Your Loving Daughter, Pidg :-)
