Midge Bronstrup's Obituary
In the early morning of January 22, 2023, our beloved mother, age 97, moved on to be with our father Harold, who passed in 1996.
Born in Los Angeles, California, graduated from Colton High School 1942, married Harold in 1944. They opened Harold’s Fine Jewelers in 1948 and worked together for over 30 years.
Midge was an active member of the community; she was a past President of: Women’s Club of San Bernardino (life member), PTA, Opti-Mrs Club, United Lutheran Church Women, DeMolay Mothers Club, P.E.O., Golden Slipper, Shrine Widows, San Bernardino Nile Club, and a member of Paradise Valley Model “A” Ford Club (life member), Order of the Eastern Star (life member), Social Order of Beaucant, White Shrine, Daughters of the Nile, High 12, Advisor for Rainbow for Girls, Board member for Santa Claus Inc., and the Center for Spiritual Living Inland Empire.
In her free time she loved gardening and traveling, visiting over 20 countries.
We cannot thank VNA Care (Hospice) staff enough and caregivers for taking such good care of our Mom: Marina, Raj, and Stella.
Private services have been held.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 2:00 pm, at the Women’s Club of San Bernardino, 503 W. 31st Street (corner of 31st and “E” St.)
