Michael Horne's Obituary
Michael S. Horne, “Mike” to his friends was called home by the Lord, Friday, October 30, 2009.
He was born December 5, 1947 in Murfreesboro, TN. Mike served 23 years in the Air Force and retired here in San Bernardino from Norton AFB in 1986. Then he worked for Airborne Express out of Ohio.
Beloved husband of Maureen Horne, wife of 40 years & loving father to Katy & Craig Thompson, Shannon & Kamalpreet Riar and Jerry W. Horne. Grandchildren- Kristopher, Ashley, Autumn, Monique, Brandon, Vikramjeet, Jasminder, Candice, Haley and Daylin.
He is survived by his father, Ralph Horne and sister, Jane Young, “Brother”, Wayne Young and nephew Michael Young.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Lee Horne, and infant daughter, Rose Marie Horne.
Mike will be remembered for his friendships, willingness to give a helping hand, bravery and most of all his love. ‘Till we meet again…
Inurnment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery.
