Merle Christine Bose Davis' Obituary
Merle Christine Bose Davis (Chris), of Redlands California passed away on July 28th, 2023, at the age of 75. Chris was born in Fair Play, Colorado to Frank and Marjorie Bose in 1947. Frank, Marjorie and their three daughters Corliss, Merle and Lorenna moved to California at an early age. Chris graduated from Colton High school in 1965.
Chris married Richard Allen in 1967 and had two sons Richard Michael and Vance Dwight. Chris then married Toby Davis in 1976. Over the course of her life, she worked at Riverside community Hospital and retired after 35 dedicated years of service. Chris was a devoted mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She also had an extended family of nieces and nephews she considered her own.
Chris loved all kinds of music, dancing, and painting. She loved all animals, most of all her dogs. She was famous for her persimmon cookies and potato salad. Chris loved socializing with her friends and was always up for a good party. She especially enjoyed holidays with her family and friends.
Chris is survived by her two sons Richard Micheal Allen and Vance Dwight Allen as well as her nieces Stacy Willaims-Lee, Kim Kratz-Perez, Tracey Kratz-Macias, and her adopted son Robert Diorio. Grandmother to 12 and Great-grandmother to 6.
