Mauricio M. Avila
Born July 22, 1920 in San Bernardino, CA., passed away February 3, 2013. Mauricio was a proud Army Veteran, of World War II. He later dedicated 35 years of his life, as a Carman with the Santa Fe Railroad Company.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Tomasa C. Avila. Three brothers David of San Bernardino, Raymond of Rialto and Cruz of Arizona. Three sisters Lucy Garcia, Mary R. Madrid of San Bernardino, and Jennie Zermeno of Rialto, CA., and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation has been scheduled for Monday February 11, 2013 starting at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA. The 10:00 a.m. Mass will take place Tuesday February 12, 2013, St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 1620 N. Waterman Ave. San Bernardino. Interment to follow at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, CA.
