Mattie Mae Clebeck's Obituary
Mattie Mae Clebeck, 101, of Banning, California, passed away on February 28, 2008 at Cherry Valley Healthcare. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Stanley Clebeck. Beside being a homemaker for over 50 years, Mattie also had worked installing control surfaces and electrical components on the P-51 Mustang at Norton AFB during WWII, ran the Victory Café in San Bernardino in the 40’s, and even owned the Dorlans Portrait Studio in Hollywood for a time. She loved driving her car cross-country, even into her 90’s. Mattie’s survivors include: son Stanley (Diane) Clebeck, daughter Joan (Alex) Simoneaux, daughter Peggy Soulliere, son Billy (Neng) Clebeck, and 10 grandchilren, 13 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel 1299 E Highland Ave., San Bernardino on Thursday March 6, 2008 from 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 10:00 am at Mt.View Cemetery in San Bernardino, CA
