Mary Grace Maijala's Obituary
Mary G. Maijala, 97, passed away in the early morning hours of March 15, 2012 at Leisure Pointe in San Bernardino, CA. In her early years mom worked in retail sales in Minnesota and Wyoming and at the Harris Co. When the family moved to California in 1954. She then was employed at Norton AFB as an Accounts Payable Clerk and Supervisor, retiring in 1975.
Mom was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Raymond Maijala and by her brothers Florindo, Carmen and Anthony of California and Minnesota.
Mary is survived by her son Raymond T. Maijala of Cambria, California and her daughter Clarice M. Wyatt of Cape Girardeau, MO; also by her granddaughters Valerie and Keri of California and Nichole of North Carolina and six great grandchildren.
Mary wanted Leisure Pointe to be her ‘last stop’. She especially enjoyed all the friends who stopped by her room with their company, love and kind words.
