Mrs. Mary Joann Dulaney 's Obituary
Mary Joanne (Hynes) Dulaney passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the age of 82.
She was born on the Hynes family farm on Eagle Creek, just outside of O’Neill, Nebraska (Holt County) on June 24, 1932 to John J. and Loretta Rose (Sullivan) Hynes.
Mary Jo moved to California in 1961 with her family and lived in Rialto, CA for 25 years then resided in Highland, CA for 15 years since 1989. She worked as a Senior Account Clerk at California State University, San Bernardino for 23 years from 1974 – 1997. She was married to Charles Dulaney in 1977 until his passing in 1983. In her retirement, Mary Jo volunteered extensively at her church, St. Adelaide’s, and with Mary’s Mercy Center.
Mary Jo is survived by her four children, Tony Borg, recently of Los Angeles, CA, Bruce Borg, of Highland, CA, Bernadette (Borg) Brown of South Pasadena, CA, Kevin Borg of Bridgewater, VA, and step-children Chuck Dulaney of Kensington, MD, Jane Asbury of Port Ludlow, WA, and Dick Dulaney of Raleigh, NC, six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 8, 2104, at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA. A rosary will be held the night before, Nov. 7, from 4pm-7pm at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. Relatives and friends are welcome at the services and the reception immediately following at Mimi’s Café at 395 E. Hospitality Lane, San Bernardino, CA.
