Mary Ann Ohlms' Obituary
Mary Ann Ohlms age 91, of Redlands, CA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 29, 2020. Mary Ann was born on August 1, 1929 to LC and Ival Anderson in Mangum, Oklahoma. Mary Ann was a retired nursing home administrator. She opened and managed nursing homes for over 30 years throughout Southern California. She served as president of the Business and Professional Women in San Bernardino; was on the Eastern Seals Board of Directors; was worthy matron of Arrowhead Chapter of Eastern Star. Mary Ann was a past president of the Contemporary Club of Redlands and a former Rose of Sharon Recipient from the First Congregational Church of Redlands for all her years of service. Mary Ann was also a member of The Golden Slipper, Daughters of the Nile and Social Order of the Beauceant.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her husband Paul Ohlms and daughter Linda Raio. Mary Ann is survived by her children David Jump, Janet Ross, Patricia Johnson, and Tom Johnson; her 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; Step children Carol Gilligan and Robert Ohlms, and their families. Mary Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly.
Memorial Services will be held February 2, 2021 at 11:00 am at The First Congregational Church of Redlands. In lieu of flowers the family asks you to donate and support first responders and hospitals on the frontlines of COVID-19.
