Martha J. Ellis' Obituary
Martha Jean Ellis a loving mother, Christian, mentor and coach, 87, of San Bernardino, died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 4:10 AM.
Martha was born to the late Eugene and Lida Wood, August 28, 1926, in Bloomington, Illinois.
She was married to the late Herbert L. Ellis in 1949 and enjoyed a marriage of over 52 years.
Martha loved the Lord and was an active member of several local churches throughout her life. She enjoyed traditional hymns and was a member of the choir periodically during her lifetime. Martha helped others and mentored several women throughout her years of church service.
Martha Jean is survived by three children: Steven A.J. Ellis of Lake Navajo, New Mexico; Gerald A. Ellis of Yucaipa; and Salferdini Catherine Ellis of Spring Creek, Nevada. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Alexander C. Ellis of Rancho Santa Margarita and Gregor W. Ellis, of Elko, Nevada.
At this time she will join her husband for eternity. Join us for dessert and coffee and a Celebration of Life event , at Cornerstone Chrisitan Fellowship from 2:30-4 p.m. located at 3933 N. Mt. View Ave in San Bernardino.
