Martha "Mickey" Bolin Hunt's Obituary
Martha “Mickey” Bolin Hunt, age 98, passed away June 30, 2014, surrounded by her loving daughters in San Bernardino, CA.
Mickey was born in Drumright, Oklahoma and was a resident of San Bernardino for 62 years. She was a remarkable mother, a Registered Nurse and a Nursing Instructor for 54 years. In her earlier years, she was a Stewardess for United Airlines, where she made the inaugural flight between San Francisco and Oahu in 1947.
She was preceded in death after 45 years of marriage by her husband, Charles L. Hunt III.
She is survived by her five daughters, Terria (Craig) Peyton of Redlands, Catherine Ruddy, and Barbara (Donald) Hance, both of Pacific Palisades, Rae (John) Sharp, D.C. of San Bernardino and Margaret (James) Lohry of Hanford, CA, brother Roy Bolin of Gentry, AR, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her dear friend Kathy Scroggins.
A celebration of life will be held following the graveside services at Riverside National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the San Bernardino City Mission.
