Marsha "Sue" Lambie's Obituary
Marsha ¨Sue” Lambie, 76, of Highland, California, passed away on December 25th, 2023. Born on February 11th, 1947, in Alton, Illinois, to John and Virginia Osterman. Sue moved to Highland in 1975, where she shared 48 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Charles Thomas Lambie.
Sue was a beacon of generosity, always the first to volunteer for community events with the National Charity League, Girls Scouts, or Scottish Society. Sue enjoyed spending her summer in the pool with her granddaughters, traveling, sewing, crafting, and enjoying time with her family and friends. She excelled at motherhood, providing a sturdy foundation for her family. Her commitment to others extended beyond her own, as she adopted a “mother to all” mantle. Sue welcomed everyone into her home, ranging from the airmen of the Norton AFB maintenance shop to Pamela and Kellyś countless friends, and a few other notable strays.
Sue is survived by her loving husband, Tom Lambie, daughters Pamela Lambie and Kelly (JD) Guadagnoli, granddaughters Olivia and Alexa, and her sister Kimberly (Kent) Schelle. Sue was preceded into death by her parents, John and Virginia (Hurst) Osterman and her sister Barbara ¨Jean” Osterman.
Sue’s legacy is woven into the lives she touched. In honoring Sue’s memory, let us reflect on the warmth she shared and the indelible mark she left on those fortunate enough to have known her. May her spirit continue to ripple through the lives she impacted and forever be cherished. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to a charity of your choice.
