Marlen L. Peter's Obituary
Marlen (Pete) L. Peter, 91 of San Bernardino, CA. passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 in Mission Viejo, CA. Pete is survived by his son Michael Peter of Lake Forest, daughters Kim Bonifacio of Yucaipa and Jodi Marentis of Parker, CO, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a brother, Arvon Peter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary.
Following his high school graduation from Norfolk, NE. Pete entered the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman Second Class serving in WW II and Korea. Following his discharge he and his wife, Mary, lived in Norfolk and then moved to CA in the mid 1950’s. He owned J and R Masonry for 28 years and retired in Highland, CA. Pete will be missed and loved by all who knew him.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 12, 2017 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA with military honors. Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
