MARK CARTER RICCIO's Obituary
Mark Carter Riccio, 57, of San Bernardino, Ca. passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 in San Bernardino. He is survived by his mother Ellie Riccio, brother Steve Riccio and nephew, Morgan Riccio and Erika all of San Bernardino, uncle and aunt, James and Marilyn Ricco and aunt Ruth Richey.
Mark had served with the Navy Seals during Viet Nam and after his discharge from the Navy he became certified as a counselor counseling Veterans in the Apple Valley area at a Rehabilitation Home in which he ran. After funding was cut short, Mark worked for St. Mary’s Hospital and Riverside General Hospital as a Counselor. He also set up a youth program, entitled “One day at a time”. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Paul Riccio in August, 2007.
He started his own carpet cleaning business for many years in the Inland Empire and surrounding communities. He sold his business and moved to Canada for several years. When he moved back to Ca. he later became an over the road trucker, trucking across the U.S.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2008 in the Courtyard Chapel of Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, Ca. Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Ca.
