Marjorie Ringo's Obituary
Age 87, died October 31, 2009. She was born in Riverside, Calif. on October 30, 1922, the daughter of Pearl and Gene Ayars. She had 2 younger brothers, Jim and Jack Ayars. Marjorie grew up in Riverside and later moved to San Bernardino, graduating from San Bernardino High in 1941. A few years later she married James B. Ringo in 1943, who was going in the Navy. They were married 53 years, with 2 sons, Jim (Skip) Ringo and Ronald Ringo. They lived in Highland since 1958. She was a homemaker and J.B. an Electrician at the Orange Show. She was a member of the Highland Pythians Sisters Temple 21, Gingham Square Dance Club, a longtime member of Highland United Methodist Church, a Bunco player and hobby of painting. She and J.B. shared many camping trips with their friends. As a loving, caring mother and grandmother, sister and friend, she will be missed but always in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband and son. She is survived by her older son, Jim (Skip) Ringo, wife Jeanne; 2 granddaughters and their husbands, Jill and Mike Eaton, Kristi & Aaron Keser; brother, Jack Ayars, wife Yvonne, their children and grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jackie Ayars, her children and their grandsons.
Services will be Thursday, November 5, 2009, 4 P.M. at Highland United Methodist Church, 27555 Baseline, Highland, CA 92346.
