Marina Marguerite Sosa's Obituary
Marina Marguerite Sosa of Redlands passed away April 16, 2025 from complications after open heart surgery at the age of 56. The family would like to thank the Doctor and the surgical team at Arrowhead Regional Hospital who did the very best they could for her. Marina is survived by the love of her life since 2000 and husband of 11 years, Armando Sosa, and their beloved Frenchie, Woody. She also leaves behind her parents, Varnum and Sharon Fletcher, Sister Karen, Brother-in-Law, Wayne and her Niece Laura. Marina graduated from Arrowhead Christian Academy in 1986. Following her 12-year career with Stater Brothers, Marina met Armando taking glass blowing classes at Valley College where Armando now teaches. Marina graduated with a Fine Arts degree from Cal State San Bernardino in 2009. Marina loved to cook and travel. She loved attending music concerts, Renaissance Festivals and many other artistic events. After enjoying many years as glass artists, she and Armando returned to Redlands to be near their families. Marina was a big help to her parents the last four years of her life. Marina was young at heart, and fun- loving. Marina’s memory will continue to inspire those who were blessed by her peaceful and loving spirit. A Celebration of Marina’s Life will be held Tuesday May 13th at 10:30 at the Chapel on the Immanuel Baptist Church campus in Highland, CA. A private Interment will be held later at Hillside Cemetery in Redlands.
