Marilynn Jane Chovick's Obituary
Marilynn Jane Chovick (90) of San Bernardino passed away on May 1, 2012. She was born on the coldest day of December, 1921 on a farm in Sparta, Wisconsin and moved with her family to sunny San Bernardino where she lived for the next 90 years. She graduated from San Bernardino High School and attended San Bernardino Junior College.
Marilynn loved her family, her friends and her faith. She had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1922.
Marilynn is survived by: her husband of 59 years, James Chovick; her daughters: Nora Lynn (Fred Young) Chovick, Elisabeth Louise Chovick, Lucinda Ann (Made Subrata) Chovick; son, Robert (Joni) Chovick; grandchildren: Wayan, Denik, Spencer and Carli.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, William and Helen Elliot, her brother, Vince Elliot, and her sister, Dorothy Elliot.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel 1299 E Highland Ave., San Bernardino. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church 2900 North “E” St., San Bernardino, CA 92405 with Interment to follow at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, CA.
