Marie Tokar's Obituary
Marie Campbell Tokar, 81, of Highland, California, passed away September 26, 2011. Marie Tokar formerly from Cosby and Newport, Tennessee. She lived and traveled extensively throughout the world. Marie was an exceptional seamstress, Bridge player, voracious reader, gardener, and raised funds for the church and community.
She was preceded in death by her spouse of 41 years, CM Sgt. Paul Tokar, a decorated war veteran, and her 13 siblings. She is survived by her four children: Paulette Tokar Whiteman of New Orleans, John Tokar and his spouse Jane Fuher of San Antonio, Tim Tokar of Calimesa, and Robyn Sue Tokar of Highland, California. Surviving Marie also are her five beloved grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at Riverside Memorial Cemetery 22490 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside CA. Condolences can be written on an online guestbook at www.bobbittchapel.com.
