Maribel Serrano Quintero's Obituary
Maribel Quintero, 43, of Ontario, CA, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 08, 2009 in the morning. Maribel was born in Yuma, Arizona and moved to the Inland Empire as a child. She graduated from Chaffey High. She was a homemaker for nearly ten years. She liked to eat her husband’s steaks, big macs (with extra sauce) and really liked tamales and mole’. She was also able to cook the best Chilaquiles you have ever had. Maribel loved quite times with her family and hanging out with her husband and children. But most of all, Maribel loved spending peaceful time with her Bible and she really lived for the fellowship she found among friends and her God at church.
Maribel gave her life to the her Lord Jesus at Corona Del Mar at a baptism and also accepted a marriage proposal that same day. She was patient and received the strength of her Jesus even in times of deep trials. Maribel lived her Christian walk not just in words but in her way of life and it effected each one who knew her. If you didn’t know this lady, the you have really missed out on something special.Maribel is survived by: husband, Gustavo Quintero; daughters Rebekah and Rachel; parents, Arturo and Paula Serrano. Siblings Robert, Art, John, Frank and Norma Serrano, as well a many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins & many friends.A Public Memorial Service for Maribel will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 10:00 at Calvary Chapel Redlands 27165 San Bernardino Ave., Redlands, CA 92374
