Margaret Mary Mary Leedy's Obituary
Margaret Mary (Naschke) Leedy passed away on July 3, 2010, at the age of 92. She was born in San Bernardino on October 21, 1917, and raised in San Bernardino. She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin Milton Leedy in 1985. She was also pre-deceased by her parents, Ernie and Mary (Molly) Naschke, and brothers, E. Stewart Naschke and Robert M. Naschke.
She retired from the District Attorney’s Office, Child Support Division, after 20 years of service. She was a charter member and past-president of San Bernardino Emblem Club #178, member of Native Daughters of the Golden West, San Bernardino Women’s Club, St. Pauls United Methodist Church, San Bernardino Golf Club and St. Bernardine Medical Center Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, Dr. Donald Wayne Leedy of West Chester, Ohio; daughter, Sharon Ann Whiteley and husband Bob of Oklahoma City; granddaughter Diane Negrete and husband Larry of Fresno, California; Two greatgrandchildren, Lauren Negrete Berry and husband Caleb Berry and Nicholas Negrete and wife Laura Negrete, all from Fresno, California.
All public services will be held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7. Chapel Service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 8. Interment will be at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton and will be attended by family only. Donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to St. Bernardine Medical Center Auxiliary, 2101 N. Waterman Avenue, San Bernardino, CA 92404
