Margaret Rose Barajas Villa's Obituary
Margaret Rose Barajas Villa, 98, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2006 in Sun City. Margaret was a lifetime resident of San Bernardino and worked as a Domestic for 18 years. During the Depression she worked for the WPA and During World War II for the Santa Fe Railroad. Margaret was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and was a volunteer for San Bernardino 5th Street Senior Center. She was the recipient of the Silver Presidential Award for her work with the Senior Center. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Josephine Ramos (Homemaker) of San Bernardino, Jeanette Lasley (Educator) of Bonita, Joyce Reyes (Contracting Officer, USMC) of Temecula; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Rosary will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2006 ~7:00 pm at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino. Mass of Resurrection will be held Thursday, September 21, 2006 ~ 10:00 am at St. Bernardine Catholic Church, 545 N. ‘F’ Street, San Bernardino. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
