Marcella Frances Hollidy-Higdon-Hollie of Highland, California passed away on March 15, 2021.
Marcella was born on August 20th , 1926 in Redlands, CA to Paul and Hazel Hollidy. She graduated from Redlands High School in 1944. She was active in Hi-Tri, Swiss Flag Throwers, GAA, Victory Core, Daisy Chain, and the Makio Staff. After graduation she attended the University of Redlands. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Marcella is predeceased by her parents; her first husband Terry V. Higdon; her former husband Manuel E. Hollie; brother Don L. Higdon and his wife Jeanie; brother-in-law Kenneth L. Neilsen; son-in-law Robert P. Williams; granddaughter Linda Kay Peralta and her husband Gary.
She is survived by her daughters Jacqueline K. Stewart of Lake Elsinore and Barbara L. Lockridge (Larry) of Highland, CA.; her brother Rex M. Hollidy of Mentone; sisters Nancy A. Neilsen of Redlands and Jean E. Timmerman (Tim) of Mentone; grandson Matthew A. Lockridge of Highland; great grandchildren Alise, Amanda (James), Michael, Anastasia (Jason) of Utah, great-great grandchildren Crystalline, Keynan, Tyler, Alex, Kayden, Xander, and Elijah of Utah. She is also survived by stepchildren Connie Cason, Monty Hollie and Terry Hollie and their families, and many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends including her “adopted” grandsons she fondly named the Inseparables.
Marcella is survived by the special man in her life Donald E. Price of North Dakota.
Marcella loved her family and they loved her with all their hearts. She knew the Lord and was ready to go home to Heaven.
Memorial service will be private. Condolences may be made through Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, San Bernardino, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
