MAE WADE HINDINGER's Obituary
Mae Wade Hindinger passed away Thursday, March 1, 2007 at the age of 103 at home. Born in Meena, Ark on November 17, 1903, she moved to San Bernardino at age 7 and resided there for the remaining 97 years of her life. She attended the University of Oregon and graduated from UCLA. She taught 3rd & 4th grade in San Bernardino for 17 years. In 1932 she married Joseph Hindinger and they had a loving marriage that lasted almost 50 years. Her husband, Joseph Hindinger and sister, Elizabeth Rich preceded her in death. She is survived by her great nieces, Sandra Barta and Mary Lee Barta Smith. She was a wonderful person and will be deeply missed by her family and friends including Lyman Rich, Jr., Rachel Furlong and Isabel Stone.Services have already been held.
