Lyndell "Lindy" Wayne Torbett Sr.'s Obituary
Lyndell “Lindy” Torbett Sr., (78) of Highland, CA passed away in San Bernardino on January 9, 2010. He worked for many years at Wonderbread where he started as a driver and worked his way up to Manger.
Lindy was a Korean War Veteran in the U.S. Army. He was incredibly dedicated to his wife and both his sons. In his younger years Lindy raced motorcycles; a hobby he enjoyed sharing with his sons. He absolutely loved to golf. After he retired he ran the City Garden which also fulfilled his love of gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joan Torbett, his sons; Lindell W Torbett Jr., and Scott Torbett, his sister Linda Gaxiola and her husband Ralph and many friends.
Services will be held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel 1299 E Highland Ave., San Bernardino on Friday January 15th at 2:00 PM with a private interment at Riverside National Cemetery.
