Having lost touch with Lou for the last few years, I was dismayed to hear she has passed. Lou was a wonderful friend to my mother and our family, one of the very few people my mother wished to visit with towards the end of her life. John and Lou were there throughout most of my childhood and always at the periphery of my adult life as long as my parents were here. John coached my late brother in baseball when he was young and Lou was my mother's best friend. I stayed in touch for a while after my father's passing but lapsed in the last couple of years. I am so saddened by her passing. Please know that I will miss her. My deepest sympathies to Fred, Bill and their families.##imported-begin##Dianne Shannon##imported-end##
