Louis E. Tejada's Obituary
On Tuesday, April 2, 2019, Louis E. Tejada, loving husband, father, and grandfather was called home at the age of 54. He was born on August 6, 1964 in El Salvador to Margarita Tejada. He graduated from Belmont High School, Los Angeles in 1982. He served in the US Air Force during Desert Storm. He was stationed at Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino and continued to live in San Bernardino after his military service. Louis was employed for San Bernardino County for 26 years. He worked in various departments within Human Services including Transitional Assistance and Program Integrity Division. Most recently, Louis worked at Preschool Services as a Program Specialist II. Louis was a loving and devoted husband to Denise; loving father to Bailey, Roxanna, Dessert-Rae, Tyler, Dominick, Christian and Joseph; step-father to Michael and Marlena; “Papa” grandpa to Noah, Valerie and Violet. He enjoyed playing his guitar, watching basketball and football, playing soccer, and taking his family out for movies. In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, Louis is survived by his mother Margarita, brothers, Orlando and Robert, and sister Maria all of Los Angeles. Funeral Services will be: Rosary- Monday 4/29/19 at 7PM, Rite of Christian Burial- Tuesday 4/30/19 10am, both at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in San Bernardino. Graveside burial will follow church service Tuesday at Montecito Memorial Park, Loma Linda. Family and friends are invited to a memorial reception following the burial at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, San Bernardino.
