Lori Gail Fletcher's Obituary
After putting up a fierce fight against cancer, Lori
passed away on July 30, 2025. Her strength and her love
for her family gave her the will to fight until she just
couldn't any longer.
Lori was a lifelong resident of San Bernardino until she
moved to Highland to accommodate her expanding fam-
ily. Her grandchildren were a constant joy. After being
the best auntie to her sister's grandkids, she finally had
some grandkids of her own to spoil, and she didn't waste
a single opportunity to do so.
Children were her life. She met her future husband Joe
and fell in love with the students, and him, while work-
ing as his classroom aide. Later she worked in a class-
room for kids with special needs where she found her
true calling. She left the classroom and began working
with the Workability program, which helps prepare high
school students with special needs for employment in the
real world. She was loved by the students and respected
by the adults, so much so that she also became active on
state level committees for several years. Even after she re-
tired, she continued with the state committee for a few
more years, always advocating for her kids.
Lori's other passion was her family. Her world revolved
around her family, and the family revolved around her.
She is survived by her best friend and husband Joseph,
their two sons Tim (Jessica) and Adam (Heather,) their
grandchildren Emmy, Arden, and Leif, sister Diana, niece
Jae, and great-nephews Trevor and Jackson. Service will
be at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please
make a donation to the American Cancer Society or Red-
lands Community Hospital.
