Lon Harvey Weeks' Obituary
Lon H. Weeks, 89, of Riverside CA went home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2016. Lon was born in Kent, Washington on December 18, 1926. He worked as a truck driver for Weyerhaeuser for over 30 years. He was a Marine veteran in both WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was the recipient of the Presidential Unit Citation and Korean Service Medal for his involvement in the Battle of Chosin Reservoir. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy Weeks. He is survived by 4 daughters, 2 sons, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 11th from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 12th at 12:00pm at Harvest Church in Riverside, CA. He will be laid to rest with Dorothy at Riverside National Cemetery.
