Lloyd Albert Lohr's Obituary
Lloyd A. Lohr, 83, passed away peacefully, after a short illness, on August 6, 2006. He was surrounded by his loving family members. Lloyd was born in Jennerstown, PA, December 25, 1922. He lived in San Bernardino for 46 years and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. He retired from the US Air Force in July, 1961, after having served over 20 years and during that time served 30 months in the European Theatre during WWII. He also retired from the County of San Bernardino in 1981. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Jean; three daughters, Beverly (Ron) Fly, Judy (Clark) Varner and Rebecca (Dwayne) Mugiishi; two stepdaughters, Karen (Larry) Bullen and Diana (Norb) Geiss; eleven grandchildren, Michele Lopez, Joanna Palacios, Randy Wyatt, Jamie and Michael Varner, Robyn and Suzanne Mugiishi, Kristina Anderson, Brian Bullen, Emily and Lisa Geiss; eleven great grandchildren, Mia and Max Palacios, Kassidy, Franky, Rikky, and Charly Wyatt, Mikayla Varner, Jessica Bossaert, Joshua and Alyssa Anderson and Jaymie Bullen. He is also survived by a brother, Jack (Connie) Lohr and sister, Sarah (Henry) Schlickerman, both of PA. Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2900 N. “E” Street in San Bernardino, Thursday, August 10, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery.
