Linda Marie Flower, 52, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009 at her home in San Bernardino. Linda was a lifetime resident of San Bernardino. She was a waitress for 20 years and waitressed at Mimi’s Café, Soup Asylum and J’s Café. She Read Obituary
Linda was a one of a kind, special lady. We met her at Mimi's Cafe after we had our first daughter Anna. She always made us feel so comfortable. She knew Anna liked peanut butter with her cherrios and always brought it without us asking. She would do special things for Anna on holidays, like the heart sippy cup and special Easter rabbit.
What an amazing woman, who will be so greatly missed by so many.

I met Linda thru Julie Lipes and was a friend thru high school - I thought she was a great person then and am sure she was thur out her life. I know she will be missed.

It's been many years since Fontana Steel days, but since then every time I went into Mimi's, Linda always stopped by my table to chat for a bit so I could catch up on the Kaneys. It has been a long journey. From Lida M. Henry Elementary, to Frisbie Jr. High and then on to Eisenhower, Linda was always a familiar smiling face and a comfort every time we started a new school year together. I just pulled out my yearbook from Frisbie Jr. High ('69) and looked on the back inside cover top left at Linda's message which says
"Pam, It's been nice having you in knowing you in class this year. Good luck in 8th. Linda Kaney" It was fun seeing her at the reunion in Palm Springs in 1999. I hope you cherish the memories you have.
