Lillice Mary Muenzenmeyer-Cohn's Obituary
Lillice Mary Muenzenmeyer Cohn, passed peacefully into internal life
on November 4, 2009 at St. Bernardine Medical Center with her three
daughters by her side. She leaves behind her daughters, Michele
Cohn, Lillice Andreson and Janice Stowers.
She was the last surviving member of her family having outlived her
parents, Mary Ellen Andreson and Carl Muenzenmeyer, and her three
older sisters.
She was a native of San Bernardino and a lifelong resident as was
her mother. Her maternal grandparents settled in San Bernardino in
the 1870’s.
She was an accomplished porcelain artist (china painter) and shared
her craft by teaching painting on porcelain for more than 20 years.
She had other talents including sewing and making custom
lampshades.
She will be sorely missed by her daughters and friends, including her
life-long friend Marge Smith of Redlands and her daughter Valerie.
The family appreciates the special and loving care provided by her
care giver Rosa Camacho.
She also leaves behind her beloved dog Nicholas and her cats, Livia,
Maggie, Misty, Toby and kitten Lolly.
Mass of the Christian burial will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at
Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arrowhead Ave. San Bernardino, Ca.
with interment to follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
