Lillian was my former mother in law. She was a conscientious, hardworking and devoted wife and mother, who cared deeply about the safety and well being of her daughters. She spared no effort to give them a loving and supportive home.
She was also an incredible cook and a kind and gracious host - as I was fortunate enough to be invited to many holiday dinners. Regardless of the occasion though, her guests were always made to feel welcome and would never leave hungry.
I've heard it said that when a person nears the end of their life, they often ask the question: Did I live, did I love, did I matter? All three of Lillian's daughters, Maureen, Marianne and Michele, have been a success at life in their own right. A testament to the fact that not only did Lillian matter, but that she was a success as a mother. God bless. Anthony Blansett
