Lester (Les) Daniel Koenig's Obituary
Les Koenig passed away at home at the age of 94. He is survived by his wife Sarah of 73 years, son Jeff (Suzan),daughter Kristy, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. He was raised in San Francisco where he graduated with a BA from San Francisco State, and was an officer in the Army National Guard. He later moved to Southern California with family. He was a Division Manager with Sears and retired from Allstate as an Insurance Agent. Les enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with family, volunteering and participating in many organizations including Masons, Elks, Past President of San Bernardino Shrine and a member with Al Malaikah Shrine in Los Angeles where he was a member of the Caravan Patrol &Royal Order of Jesters. Les had fun playing the ukulele through Redlands Sr. Center. He was a loving husband and father who is greatly missed. He often said he had lived a good and full life. A celebration of life will beheld in the near future.
