Leland Carl Stueve's Obituary
Leland (Jim) Carl Stueve, 81, a native of Ohio and 10 year resident of San Bernardino County passed away in his home in Highland, Saturday, December 19th, 2009. Jim was a member of the First Baptist Church in San Bernardino and C.O.P. (Citizens on Patrol) with the Volunteer Forces of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office, Highland Station.
Jim was a people person who also enjoyed watching horse racing. He was a real hero to his little girl.
Immediate family survivors include his daughter Lisa Miltimore and her husband Ron. His three grandsons, Jerry Morales and wife Kassadi, grandsons Jeffrey Miltimore and Jim Miltimore. Also two sons surviving are Rob Stueve and his wife Judy, and Jeff Barrister. He will be missed by other family and friends.
Pastor Jim Newell will be officiating a Graveside Services for Jim on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 9:30am, at Staging Area #3 at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, Memorial Services will be held at the City of Highland Police Department, 2695 Baseline, Highland CA from 12noon to 3pm.will be held with Chaplain Bob May officiating.
