Dear Lori,

I am truly sorry to hear the loss of your parents.

I have been anxious about their health since I missed to receive a greeting card from Mary for the last two years. I understood how deeply Leland and Mary had been loved and respected by all of you through the letter you sent me this time.

It is my fond memory to meet your parents in 1980s when I visited San Bernardino a couple of times. I remember Leland talked to me that he had felt attached to Japanese people since he had an opportunity to stay in Hokkaido Japan in his twenties.

I am privileged to have kept in touch with your parents for the 40 years. This is a true treasure in my life.

Dear Craig and Lori,
I was so sorry to hear about Lee's passing. He and Mary were such sweet, caring neighbors. You will remember my daughters, Susie and Stacey Parker, from just around the corner on E St.
We too lost our home in the fire all those years ago, and after that it seemed that life really changed for so many folks. We chose to hang on to those earlier wonderful memories. Thank the Lord for wonderful, supportive Christian friends.
You and your families are in my prayers. There is no doubt that Lee and Mary are rejoicing in heaven together with our Lord.
