Lawrence Edward Warren's Obituary
Lawrence E. Warren, 82, a native of Tennessee and 28-year resident of Pomona, passed away, July 14, 2006. Enlisting in the Navy at 17 years of age, he served 4 years and earned 3 Bronze Stars and was a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was a tow-motor operator for 21 years. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elaine; three daughters, Saunda Neil of Nashville, Tennessee, Phyllis Mulliken of Covington, Kentucky and Kathy Arnold of Pomona; a brother John Warren, Jr. of Fontana; a sister Brenda Ballard of Tennessee; and six grandchildren. Viewing will be held Wednesday, July 19, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino. Graveside Services with military honors will be held Thursday, July 20, at 11:30 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area #3, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside.
