Lawrence "Larry" Eisenhart's Obituary
Lawrence S. Eisenhart passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013. He was born October 21, 1932 in Los Angeles, California. His family moved to San Bernardino, CA when he was two years old. Larry had many fond memories of growing up in San Bernardino. He graduated from San Bernardino High School, class of 1950.
Following high school, he served in the Army Corps of Engineers and finished his studies in civil engineering at UCLA.
He was a registered civil engineer and a pioneer in the specialty of traffic engineering. The Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors recently recognized Larry for the role he has played in achieving their mission and vision over the past 50 years.
Larry was a charter member of the Rialto Lions breakfast club, a Fellow with the Institute of Traffic Engineers and a member of the Arrowhead Country Club, where he enjoyed many years of excellent golf.
His father and mother, Lawrence and Florence Eisnehart, and sister Patricia, preceded Larry in death. Larry is survived by his wife Linda Eisenhart, his children Susanne Eisenhart, Scott (Misty) Eisenhart, Kendra (Kevin) Dockham and Steven (Candee) Eisenhart along with 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren whom he loved and was very proud of.
