LaVauna May Williams' Obituary
LaVauna M. Williams, 86 of Highland, CA passed away on Monday, August 22, 2011. She is survived by her husband James V. of 62 years, son, Jeff “Owen” and wife Susan of Highland, stepdaughter, Suzette Nau of Avon Lake, OH, daughter in law, Colleen of San Bernardino, grandsons, Jake Tedesco of Redondo Beach, John Tedesco of Santa Barbara, 1 great grandson, Tony Tedesco. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julia Ann and son James Apaka.
LaVauna held several positions with the San Bernardino Women’s Club and past President of the Arrowhead Garden Club. She volunteered for many years at the Norton AFB Officer’s Thrift Shop.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Immanuel Baptist Church, Highland, CA. with interment to follow at 12:15 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery.
