Laura Marie Commare's Obituary
Laura M. Commare, 96 of Banning, CA passed away with her loving family at her side on Saturday, November 26, 2011 in Redlands, CA. Laura is survived by her daughters, Julie (William) Ferranti of Sonoma, CA; Marie McIntyre of Palm Desert, CA; and son, Peter Commare of Palm Desert, CA. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Jo Denardo of San Dimas, CA and Phyllis Scaccia of Pawpaw, MI. Laura managed the family owned variety store which was the first to open in Palm Desert, CA where she resided for 23 years. She then retired with her husband, Arthur to Banning, CA where she resided for 40 years. Her beloved husband, Arthur passed away in 1974.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011 with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA. Mass of Christian Burial will 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Holy Rosary Cathedral Church, 2525 N. Arrowhead Ave. San Bernardino with interment to follow at San Gorgonio Cemetery, Banning, CA. Condolences may be sent on-line at www.bobbittchapel.com
