Larry Lynn Fosdick's Obituary
Larry Lynn Fosdick, age 82, of Highland, California passed away on January 13, 2021 in Redlands, California.
Larry was born in San Bernardino on July 23, 1938 to Harry E. Fosdick and Dorothy V. Smith. Larry was married for 51 years to Karen Fosdick who passed away in 2009 and Larry then married Judy Miller in 2012. Larry was the owner of Fosdick’s Ice Cream and Grinders in San Bernardino for many years and really was a mentor to his employees. In his later years, Larry worked for his brother Denny at Totalplan in Riverside.
Larry is survived by his wife Judy Fosdick, (Daughter) Cyndi Saldana, (Son) Craig Fosdick, (Daughter-in-law) Renee Fosdick, (Son-in-law) Jason Saldana, (Grandchildren) Kegan Fosdick, Emilie Fosdick, and Jacob Saldana, (3 week old Great-Grandson) Sonny Gastelum-Fosdick, (Brother) Dennis Fosdick, (Sister) Linda Lee, and Judy’s two sons Scott and Tim Miller.
Larry enjoyed the simple things in life such as going out to breakfast and watching NFL games. Larry’s favorite sport was football and he excelled at playing and coaching. He played High School football at Pacific High School and spent many years coaching son Craig and the teams he played on as well as coaching and sponsoring Little League teams. Larry enjoyed traveling whether in the UK, Australia or traveling in the motorhome across the United States. His favorite trip was to Alaska to watch the bears.
Larry enjoyed many things but he loved spending time with his family and great friends and had a special bond with his grandchildren. Larry was loved and will be greatly missed.
Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
