To the family of L. C. Easley
c/o Bennie and Venessa Windom
The clock of life is wound but once. No man has the power to tell when the hands will stop. At a late or an early hour, God saw that L. C. was getting weary and a cure was not to be. Therefore He closed his eyes and shispered "Servant come home and rest with me." Family, you must find comfort in knowing that if we trust in the Lord with all of our hearts and lean not to our own understanding and in all your ways acknowledge Him, He shall direct your paths. We must understand that His anger endureth but a moment and in His favor is life. For we know that weeping may endure for a night but joy surely cometh in the morning. Although L. C. may not be with us, a part of him will never die. For as long as we think of him we must hold on to the memories that have passed by. Now that his golden heart has stopped beating and his hard working hands are at rest. God has broken our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. Sleep on L. C. and take your peaceful rest. While you have gond on home, we will still be here trying to do our best. In nlife we love you dearly and in death we will love you still because in our hearts you will always hold a place no one else can fill. Only time will help our pain, but it will nevertake the hurt away. You will live on in our hearts until we meet again someday.
