Sending my prayers and condolences to the entire Baker family. Please know I am very sorry that I could not attend the service for Kenny Lee today; I wish I could. Health prevented me from attending. But, I wanted to share this. I remember Kenny Lee from when I was a young kid, and he was always a kind-hearted, compassionate individual. That is what has always stood out in my mind about him. It is something I remember about him when I would visit my great Aunt Betty and Uncle Kenny. I loved him like I loved everyone in the family, and prayed for him every single time I prayed.
I also want to say that I am praying that the God of Grace and Comfort comforts everyone who knew Kenny Lee more than I did. As an individual with a serious chronic illness, God helps me lives through each and every day, and I believe Kenny Lee is with our Blessed Lord and Savior right now. I want to share this verse:
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"Blessed be God, even the Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the
God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our
tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them
which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves
are comforted of God."
Please let this be an amazing comfort to everyone today and always, as I know it is to me during this time and everyday. May God continue to richly bless all of you and all of your loved ones and keep you all safe.
In Christ's Love,
Jillian Erin Baker
